A polo reads as a staff shirt. An oversized tee reads as merch. Both can take the same logo.
The straight answer
A left-chest logo on a polo is what most offices ask for. The polo is made to order after you send the artwork and the sizes. It is not sitting in the ready shop.
An oversized tee is the better choice when the logo can be larger and the shirt is meant to be worn off duty as well. Look at the drape on the Mighty Gorilla oversized t-shirt if you want to see that cloth. The logo would replace the animal.
Some teams split the order. Polos for the people on site, tees for the rest. Tell us that split. We quote them as the garments they are.
Polo details are on polo t-shirts with a logo. The tee range is oversized t-shirts.
A staff list is the same job, repeated
Offices usually want a left-chest logo on a polo. The polo reads as a staff shirt. An oversized tee reads as merch you can wear off duty, and the logo can be larger. Some teams split it: polos for the people on site, tees for everyone else. Tell us that split. We quote them as the garments they are.
There is no published minimum you have to hit. One polo is allowed. So is a full headcount. Send the real number. Inventing a bigger quantity to chase a lower price, then cutting it later, just restarts the quote. The price moves with the quantity, the garment, and how dense the logo is. List how many of each size. Names on a packing list are useful. Names stitched on each shirt are a different job. Say if you need both.
A fast quote needs five things: the artwork, polo or tee or shirt, the colours, how many of each size, and the placement. Chest, sleeve, or back is enough. We reply with a price and a time. You can change the quantity before you approve. Approval is what starts the work. Use our size chart, not another brand's, when people send you their usual size.
Stand in front of a mirror, not a size rumour
Picture the tee you already reach for on a Saturday. Not the one that looked sharp on someone else. The one you wore until the collar gave up. Where does the shoulder seam sit? If it is parked on the edge of your shoulder, that shirt is a regular fit. Our oversized tees put that seam further out, on purpose. The hem hangs longer. The sleeve has room. You do not size up to get that. The pattern already did it.
If you want the drape in the photos, order the size you usually wear. If you want it closer, come down one size. It will still be looser than a fitted tee. Between two sizes, the bigger one is the full oversized shape. The smaller one is the cleaner version of the same idea. The shoulder number on the product page changes the look more than the letter on the label.
Do not copy a tee size onto a shirt. A shirt has its own chart, and an oversized tee size on a shirt can look like you borrowed it. A polo for a team is a third garment. Tell us which one the size list is for. If you are stuck, send your usual size and your height. We will say which one we would pick.
One shirt is a whole order
You do not need a team. Send the artwork, the garment, the colour, and the size. We confirm where the stitch will sit, then we make that piece. A single polo with a name is as normal as a single tee with a drawing. Polos with a logo are made to order. They are not sitting in the ready shop the way the oversized tees and embroidered shirts are.
We stitch on our own garments. We do not embroider a shirt you already own and post to us. We need to know the cloth can hold the design. A blurry screenshot makes us guess the edges, and guessing makes a bad embroidery. A clear PNG or SVG is the easy file. A sharp photo, taken straight on in daylight, is enough to start. Tiny text and hairline drawings often need to be thicker. We say that before you pay.
A palm-wide mark is the usual chest logo. A picture on an oversized tee can be larger. Left chest means the wearer's left, the side you see when you look down at your own shirt. Say it plainly. A logo on the wrong side is the mistake people notice first. Nothing is stitched until you have agreed the place, the size, the colours, and the spelling. The clock starts after that yes, not when the file first lands in the chat.
If you are still on the fence
Come back to the first lines. A polo reads as a staff shirt. An oversized tee reads as merch. Both can take the same logo. If that matches the shirt in your head, use the links above and either check out or send the file. If it does not, the other guides under this post are the next place to look.
