Can I iron over the embroidery?
If the shirt needs a press, turn it inside out or lay a cotton cloth over the design. Iron the cotton, not the thread.
A hot iron straight on raised stitches can flatten them. They will not look the way they did when the shirt arrived.
Most of the oversized tees are meant to be worn with a natural fold. They do not need a sharp crease.
Wash the stitch the same way on a tee or a shirt. Turn the Hanuman oversized t-shirt inside out, use cold water, and keep it off high heat. The Bee plain embroidered shirt follows the same wash. Heat is what flattens the thread and what pulls cotton in, so line drying is the safer habit for both.
Iron the cloth, not the stitches. On a striped shirt such as the Sunflower striped shirt, press around the design. Fold heavy tees from oversized t-shirts instead of hanging them on a thin hanger. Shirts from embroidered shirts can hang if you want the collar to stay straight.
