Is the t-shirt see-through?
A thin tee can show skin or an undershirt in sunlight. The 240GSM oversized tees are cut from heavier cotton so that does not happen in ordinary wear.
Black and other dark colours hide more than a very light colour would. If you are looking at a light shirt from the embroidered shirt range, check the photos and ask us if you need it for a bright outdoor day.
Hold is about the cloth weight, not a coating. Nothing plastic is added to make it opaque.
The 240GSM note belongs to the oversized t-shirts. You can feel the difference in the hand on the Wanderlust travel oversized t-shirt and the Campfire Vibes oversized t-shirt. Both are heavyweight cotton with the stitch sitting on that cloth. The full oversized t-shirts collection is the range to shop when you want that weight.
Embroidered shirts are a different cloth. Read the description on the Bee Vine plain embroidered shirt rather than assuming it is 240GSM. If you want a stripe, the Evil Eye striped shirt is the closer comparison. Shirt cloth and tee cloth are both listed on their own product pages in embroidered shirts.
